We had a fun day on Saturday! Artisan Antonnete Cleoni, Visited our store to show us her beautiful jewelry line, aCleoni. We have showcased her jewelry in our store for over 30 years, and it is one of our best-selling artisan lines. She brought her beloved dog, Phoenix Rising, who travels with her wherever she goes. A perfect opportunity for a photo shoot outside our store on a beautiful day!

Meet Gabe Mellows. He has been shopping at our store with his dad for his mom's gifts since he was a little boy. He is now selling his "Twisted Wire Art" at Shady Lane and art fairs until he gets a "real job" after graduating with a degree in architecture from UE. We are a legacy store with memories to share.

🧡A customer came in wearing a lovely peach sundress and bought one of our popular loop shoulder shawls to wear with it. She looked stunning when she walked into the store but even more so when she added to her outfit and walked out! It was a bit chilly, and she was on her way to visit the glorious Fololi Gardens and needed some extra warmth.
Catherine Bohrman Sculptor I call the sculpture “At One,” which means harmony, being entirely at one with oneself. Looking, touching, embracing form. I have always felt that creating a sculpture is like solving the puzzle of expressing ideas and emotions with form, not words. I love forms that flow. I love the size. I love how a sculpture, no matter what height, can demand attention and be present. I initially worked in stone. I then switched to cast bronze and just recently started working in cast glass.

We said goodbye to our beloved Shady Lane storefront of 35 years and its iconic creaky floors in the historic 1920s building on University Ave in Palo Alto. The building was sadly torn down for a massive 4-story structure. We're thrilled to have found a new home in Sharon Heights Shopping Center, Menlo Park! Our customers followed us here, and we couldn't be more grateful. Help support a legacy store where parking is easy, and our stand-alone octagon building is charming.
