Steven Battelle makes gorgeous 18k gold and sterling silver necklaces, earrings, and rings. Although Steven studied exotic animal veterinary care at Stanford, he fell in love with the challenges and joys of jewelry design and took a completely different direction in his life. While Steven specializes in cabochon rings, he also incorporates ancient Greek and Roman coins in his necklaces and rings for those who like to wear a bit of history. Sandi Morey is one of Shady Lane's longest established artisans in the store (30+ years!).  Not only does she make gorgeous hand-knotted necklaces and earrings, but she also hosts and leads a family fireside sing-along called Sing Thing in the East Bay area. She is a very talented artist on many different fronts. Her jewelry is perfect for stacking multiple necklaces with the classic look of natural stones and pearls.
